FIRST ANNUAL
ANGEL AMBASSADORS AWARDS - 2003
For
excellence as role models for the children of the world
To
recognize children and celebrities who have distinguished themselves as
role models for the next generation, Angel Foundation has created the Annual
Angel Ambassador Awards; or as the Angel Foundation child ambassadors affectionately
call them, the “Archangels”. Angel Foundation is a United Nations NGO for
children’s rights, with worldwide operations.
It
is the belief of Angel Foundation that children (Youth Category) who have
distinguished themselves by being role models for their generation ought
to be recognized for their actions. It is also the belief of Angel Foundation
that celebrities (Celebrity Category) from all walks of life have a responsibility
to the children of the world with regards to their influence on the next
generation. Those who display excellence (as role models) ought to be recognized
for their honor, dignity and class
The
Angel Foundation Archangel Committee, consisting of Honorary Advisors and
Ambassadors for Angel Foundation (adult and child), nominated children,
who were deemed to possess the qualities required as excellent role models
for their generation. The nomination list was then forwarded to the Angel
Foundation Youth Ambassadors worldwide. The Youth Ambassadors voted for
those individuals who they believed to possess these same role model qualities.
The
Angel Foundation Archangel Committee also nominated celebrities, who were
deemed to possess the qualities required as excellent role models for the
next generation. The nomination list was then forwarded to the Angel Foundation
Youth Ambassadors worldwide. The Youth Ambassadors voted for those individuals
who they believed to possess these same role model qualities.
Please
note: This was not a vote of popularity, statesmanship, athletics or
artistic ability.
